Senior Calibration clinic Dec 6th – Boyne Mountain

Who:  This event is for all Senior Evaluator or OEC Instructors, in good standing with NSP that are actively instructing and who have passed the OECMSP  component of the NSP Senior Program.

To register for this event:

1.  Go your Center for Learning Port on the NSP site.

2.  Once you click on the  yellow Browse Catalog section, type in  OEC continuing education in the search catalog bar at the top of your screen 

3.  Scroll through the choices until you see Instructor Continuing Education Clinic – Outdoor Emergency Care and click on the ENROLL button3.  A new screen will appear with varied dates/classes.  Scroll down until you see; OEC MSP Trainer Evaluator Workshop – Boyne Mountain – Sr. OEC Evaluation Calibration Click SELECT and then hit the ‘SUBMIT‘ button at the bottom of the page.

NMR Instructor/Trainer Calibration Clinic Snowsports Trainers Workshop (TTW)

Course Information

This region clinic is designed to enhance the teaching, assessment, coaching, and feedback skills for current or aspiring instructors, trainers, and evaluators within the alpine ski, telemark and snowboard disciplines.

Date: Saturday, January 3, 2026

Location: Nubs Nob – Brown Bag Room 

Time: 8:00am – 4:00pm EST (Registration at 8:00am, on-hill promptly ay 9:00am)

Note: All participating Trainers DO NOT have to pay for any NMR training events including the SES and TES.

Additionally, please plan to attend the Northern Michigan Region (NMR) Candidate Clinic on January 4, 2026 at the Highlands and the SES on January 31, 2026 at Nubs Nob and the TES on February 1, 2026 at the Highlands. Registration is available on the NSP website.

Snowsports Trainers Workshop

Course Information

This workshop is designed for current and aspiring NSP SnowSport instructors, trainers, and evaluators and utilizes the current Professional Ski Instructor Association (PSIA) and American Association of Snowboard Instructors (AASI) instruction terminology and methodology. This region or division clinic is designed to enhance the teaching, assessment, coaching, and feedback skills for current or aspiring instructors, trainers, and evaluators within the alpine ski, telemark and snowboard disciplines.

Saturday, January 31, 2026 

Location: Nubs Nob – Brown Bag Room 

Lunch: On your own – Nubs Nob Cafeteria or Brown Bag 

Attire: Civilian Clothing
